Loftus Road side chase White Hart Lane duo.
Harry Redknapp will look to raid his former club in order to improve his QPR squad following their promotion back to the Premier League with Tottenham pair Michael Dawson and Andros Townsend being on the Loftus Road side’s shopping list according to the Daily Express.
It is thought that following the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as White Hart Lane boss that a number of players could be on the way out, seemingly alerting Redknapp to possible moves to bring said players from north to West London.
Redknapp wants to bring in England international Townsend but will have to fork out £8m to bring in the 22 year old, who had spent a season on loan at QPR in the past.
The talented wide-man enjoyed a strong spell last term for both club and country but injury issues and a drop in form appear to have left Townsend’s Spurs future in doubt.
It is thought that a fee of as little as £4m would see Tottenham sell centre-back Dawson to QPR though one imagines Pochettino would assess his squad before making any decisions on the defender’s potential exit.
