Check in to England vs Italy

Tottenham are fearful of losing French keeper Hugo Lloris this summer and have set their sights on Celtic custodian Fraser Forster as a potential replacement according to the Daily Mail.

Lloris has resisted calls to sign a new contract and given the north London side have failed to secure a Champions League berth speculation of a move to PSG has increased of late.

Spurs will demand in excess of £20m for Lloris and that could be a fee the Ligue 1 side happily stumps up for the 27 year old, money that would then be used to land England international Forster.

The 6ft 7in keeper has just completed his fourth season at Parkhead and is part of Roy Hodgson’s 2014 World Cup squad but a move back to the Premier League could well tempt the 27 year old.

Forster previously spent six years at Newcastle United but failed to secure a single Premier League appearance for the club so the chance to prove his former club wrong may be a tempting one for the Celtic man, especially given Neil Lennon has now walked away from the Glasgow club.
