White Hart Lane side chase San Siro ace.
Tottenham have joined an extensive list of clubs chasing AC Milan forward Mario Balotelli according to Football Direct News.
The 23 year old has been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League after a troubled return to the San Siro which has led to the former Man City man looking likely to leave AC Milan this summer.
Balotelli has had a fair few on and off field issues but that hasn’t stopped the Italian international from notching up a very healthy total of 30 goals in 54 appearances for AC Milan but it still seems likely that the Rossoneri will sell the striker.
With summer signings Roberto Soldado and Erik Lamela both failing to impress there is every chance that new White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino will look to strengthen his attack but one wonders if Balotelli will be tempted by a move to a Tottenham side who can not offer him Champions League football.
Balotelli’s former Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho could well opt to make a move for his former charge and this source also claims that both Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in the Serie A star.
