Senegalese superstar Mohamed Diame wants to move up a step in his career…

Find out who are the most valuable players in world football.

West Ham United midfielder Mohamed Diame has once again stated his ambitions to play for one of the top sides in the Premier League, having previously stated a burning desire to join Liverpool, reports the Daily Mail.

The 26-year old has also been linked to top English clubs in Arsenal and Tottenham, but he had not been able to force a move away from Upton Park last summer. The enforcer hopes that this summer will bring about a massive development in his career, and he seems to have issued a come get me plea to the top clubs in the land – and was strongly linked with a move to Anfield earlier in the month.

Reiterating his desire to make it big in the Premier League, Diame said, “I don’t want to stop here. I still want more: Joining a club from the top six would be a dream come true.”

His cheap £3.5m release clause is set to interest Brendan Rodgers, who wants to strengthen his squad ahead of next term’s Champions League campaign.

Diame also showered plenty of praise on the Premier League, and felt that it had something special that kept it a cut above the rest of the leagues in Europe. The former Wigan Athletic man made 41 appearances for the Hammers this past season after enduring an injury plagued campaign last time around, and it remains to be seen whether any of the big guns in the Premier League will come in for his services this summer, particularly since he seems to have a rather affordable £3.5m buy-out clause in his contract with West Ham.
