Chelsea To Hold Talks With Lightning Winger; Blues Beat Man Utd To Transfer

Chelsea poised to hold transfer talks with Pachuca over bringing Mexican winger to Stamford Bridge.

Premier League side Chelsea are set to hold talks with Mexican starlet Jurgen Damm this week, reports the Daily Mirror. Damm plays in the Mexican league as a right winger for local club Pachuca, and is known for his speed and direct style of play.

The 21-year had a trial with Manchester United in the past, and the Blues seem to have pulled a rabbit out of the hat by moving for the youngster.

Pachuca’s officials expect a delegation from Chelsea to fly out to Mexico soon to hold talks with the club, who are willing to sell their starlet for the right price.

Damm is also eligible to play for Germany as his father is of German descent, and a move to Chelsea could be a very big step up in the winger’s career, since he has not yet featured for a top European club.

Pachuca vice-president Andres Fassi was quoted saying in the Daily Mirror, “Yes, there is interest, but we have to see how much they are interested.

“In principle, we have a sporting plan for Jurgen and we hope he stays. But if something comes up from abroad, we have to take it into account; and if it’s serious, we have to respond.”
