The 25 year old could well be set for a White Hart Lane exit following a tough season during which the Brazilian fell out with former boss Tim Sherwood and made just 10 Premier League starts and failed to make it into Felipe Scolari’s 2014 World Cup squad.
Napoli boss Rafa Benitez has long been pursuing the tough tackler but now Jose Mourinho is also tracking the former Internacional man.
Having sold David Luiz to PSG Jose Mourinho may be looking to strengthen his central midfield options and could feel Sandro is a better option than Nigerian international John Obi Mikel, who himself plays second fiddle to January signing Nemanja Matic.
Napoli will not pay more than £9m for Sandro, which is significantly below Tottenham’s valuation, which may let in Chelsea to snap up Sandro who could well be tempted to make the move from north to west London to join fellow countrymen Oscar and Ramires.
