Gunners frontman gets one over his international teammate.
Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud scored a brilliant goal while training with the France national team earlier this week.
The 27-year-old, who was his club’s topscorer this season with 16 Premier League goals, sent a crisp far-post volley beyond Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in a practice match.
Giroud and Lloris are both expected to feature in France’s World Cup Group E opener against Honduras on June 15.
France then play Ecuador five days later, before ending the group phase against Switzerland on June 25.
