Hazard has been targeted by the French giants in recent weeks after coach Laurent Blanc admitted that he would love to work with the player in the near future.

Rumours of a €75m bid for the Belgian maestro have been circulating as the Parisians will look to bring him to the Parc des Princes after the World Cup this month.

However, the Blues aren’t looking to sell and are said to be plotting a huge contract extension in order to keep the Lille man at Stamford Bridge.

According to Belgian daily Sud-Info, Abramovich is prepared to increase Hazard’s yearly salary from €11.5m to a cool €15m.

That would mean that the 23-year-old would be collecting a whopping €290,000 per week.

Hazard and coach Jose Mourinho have shared a rather tempestuous relationship recently, though with the Portuguese boss claiming that Hazard does not sacrifice himself for the team enough. The Belgian responded by saying that “Chelsea are not set up to play football” after they crashed out of the Champions League to Atletico Madrid.
