And now reports in Germany are claiming that Brendan Rodgers is set to revive his interest in the Swiss star after he fell out of favour at the Alianz Arena.
The 22-year-old is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League as Manchester United were said to be keen on him also but Louis van Gaal’s arrival as boss is said to have cooled that interest leaving the way seemingly clear for the Reds.
