Manchester City’s 20-year old midfielder Emyr Huws is wanted by Leicester City, Crystal Palace and Swansea City on loan this summer, reports the Daily Star.
The highly rated Welshman is believed to be ready for Premier League football after being on the brink of playing for Manuel Pellegrini’s senior squad, and several clubs queuing up for his services comes as no surprise.
Huws has already been capped twice for Chris Coleman’s Welsh national team, and has also impressed in loan spells away at Northampton Town and Birmingham City in the past.
While a number of Premier League sides are looking to take him on a short loan spell away from the Etihad, it will be interesting to see whether Pellegrini will choose to keep him in his squad next season, given his rapid development.
City also need more home-grown players in their squad for the Champions League next season, which could also be a key consideration for the English Champions before they decide to loan out their bright young prospect.
