Toffees and Spurs are lining up offers for 24-year-old La Liga star Yacine Brahimi.

Premier League sides Everton and Tottenham are battling hard for the services of 24-year-old Granada attacking midfielder, Yacine Brahimi, reports talkSPORT.

The midfielder impressed in La Liga this season, netting three times in 33 games, and has now attracted interest from Spurs and the Toffees.

Although Tottenham are said to be leading the chase for the youngster, the fee for the player could be a hindrance in any possible deal.

Granada have reportedly installed a £12 million release clause for Brahimi, which Spurs and Everton are reluctant to meet since they value him at just £8 million.

Both English sides will now have the necessary time to take a final call on the midfielder though, as he is expected to star for Algeria at the 2014 World Cup, but his good performances could also be a bane for the clubs since he could attract more high profile interest in the future.

Brahimi has been capped three times for Algeria, but is widely regarded as one capable of becoming a top player one day.
