Paris Saint-Germain are considering summer moves for both Angel Di Maria of Real Madrid and Barcelona’s Pedro Rodriguez, according to Fichajes.net.

The big-spending Ligue 1 giants are in the market for new attacking players in this transfer window as Argentine winger Ezequiel Lavezzi could be heading for a move to either Arsenal or Chelsea, while French international Jeremy Menez has already left the club for a free transfer to AC Milan.

Blues wide-man Eden Hazard had reportedly been one of PSG’s top targets in that position, but after recent reports that the Belgian wants to remain at Stamford Bridge, the French champions have been forced to consider alternatives in that department.

Di Maria and Pedro, both rumoured targets for Arsenal, have now emerged as leading candidates to come in, with both players possibly set to be available this summer despite strong performances for their clubs in 2013/14.

The Argentine was a key player for Madrid as they won the Copa Del Rey and Champions League, contributing 11 goals and 26 assists along the way, while Spanish international Pedro finished the season with 19 goals and eight assists despite a disappointing campaign for Barcelona in all.

It is thought that Di Maria could command a fee of around £40m, while Pedro could be slightly cheaper, as both Real and Barca look to make major changes to their squads for next season.
