La Liga giants keep to keep hold of homegrown star.
Spanish giants Barcelona are set to offer star forward Pedro a new deal in order to keep the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool at bay, according to the Daily Star.
The 26-year-old faces an uncertain future at the club following a difficult domestic season that saw them cede the title to Atletico Madrid, and both Liverpool and Arsenal have been linked with making a move for his signature in recent weeks.
The Spanish international stubbled for enough game time at the Nou Camp, and reports in Spain have suggested that the club could be willing to offload him for the right price.
However, upon hearing the news of interest from the Premier League, Barcelona have sought to offer him a new deal once the new season gets underway.
Pedro still has two years remaining on his current deal, but Barca want to get his future secured following the conclusion of the World Cup next month.
Having allowed Cesc Fabregas to join Chelsea and with Alexis Sanchez also expected to depart the Camp Nou, Barcelona manager Luis Enrique wants to keep hold of Pedro.
