Check in to Italy vs Costa Rica

Newly promoted Premier League side Leicester City are reportedly ready to make a surprise move for Eredivisie star Graziano Pelle according to the Daily Mail.

The £8m rated Feyenoord man is also being pursued by QPR, West Brom, Stoke City and Everton though Neil Pearson will look to win the race for the 28 year old Italian, who may be tempted by a move to the English top tier.

Foxes boss Pearson is looking to bring in a host of new additions to better prepare his side for life in the Premier League though his continued efforts to land Brighton’s Leonard Ulloa are as yet to bear fruit, hence his push for Pelle.

The 6tf 4in forward netted 27 goals 29 appearances for Feyenoord during his initial loan season at the Rotterdam club and scored a further 26 goals in all competitions for the club last season.

The former Parma and Sampdoria has previously spent four years with AZ Alkmaar, who he helped to a Dutch title in 2008/09.
