Chelsea and Manchester City strikers wanted by Atletico.
Atletico Madrid are reportedly considering moves for Romelu Lukaku of Chelsea and Alvaro Negredo of Manchester City as they eye a replacement for Diego Costa, according to El Confidencial.
The Spanish champions look set to lose star striker Costa in a £32m move to Stamford Bridge this summer, with the Brazilian-born forward helping Diego Simeone’s side to an unexpected title triumph in La Liga.
Costa’s goals played a big part in Atletico’s success and they will now look for some top quality signings to come in as a replacement for the Spaniard, with Lukaku possibly heading in the opposite direction from Chelsea after falling out of favour with Jose Mourinho.
The likes of Real Madrid and Juventus are also interested in the Belgian youngster, who has impressed in two separate loan spells away from the Blues in the last couple of seasons, first with West Bromwich Albion and then with Everton.
Negredo is also a target for Atletico after a good first season in England with Manchester City. The former Sevilla man had a superb run of form earlier in the campaign before then suffering something of a goal drought, which could mean the Premier League champions will consider letting him leave for the right price.
