Atletico Madrid and Spain forward Diego Costa was accused of being a traitor by Brazil fans at a FIFA World Cup training session recently.
The 25-year-old, who is widely expected to sign for Chelsea this summer, began his international career with Brazil – the country of his birth.
However, after playing just two friendlies for the South American nation, he switched allegiances to Spain earlier this year.
Having now played in a competitive game for Spain, he is no longer eligible to play for Brazil.
