Kwesi Appiah’s side appear to be in high spirits before USA clash.
The Ghanaian squad have arrived in Natal in high spirits ahead of their World Cup Group G match against the USA, with the squad singing and playing musical instruments on their way into the Arena das Dunas.
Ghana’s last World Cup match ended in heartbreak when they lost on penalties to Uruguay in a 2010 quarter final that had seen Asamoah Gyan miss the chance to make them the first ever African World Cup semi-finalists.
Despite a tough group that also includes Germany and Portugal, Kwesi Appiah and his side are confident of qualifying for the second round once again, particularly after Portugal saw themselves taken apart by the Germans earlier today.
