Reigning champions Spain have it all to do to stay in the 2014 World Cup and need to win their next Group B match with Chile to have any realistic chance of reaching the last-16.

The Spaniards were humbled in their opening match against the Netherlands, with Robin van Persie and Arjen Robben inspiring a 5-1 rout for the Dutch.

As for their opponents today, the Chileans won their first game in convincing fashion after beating Australia 3-1 and therefore giving themselves a good chance of finishing in the top two.

Vicente del Bosque is expected to go through the changes in the Spanish starting XI after their humiliation on Friday, which could see several key figures dropping to the bench.

Captain Iker Casillas had a particularly poor game against Holland and with David de Gea injured, Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina is expected to replace the Real Madrid skipper between the posts.

Bayern Munich’s Javi Martinez could come in for Gerard Pique at the back, whilst Chelsea’s latest signing Cesc Fabregas is expected to replace Diego Costa in attack.

Their South American opponents probably won’t make too many changes after their success against the Socceroos and FC Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal of Juventus are particularly influential players to watch out for.
