Brilliant Dutch baller says “nobody from the Netherlands can simply reject Van Gaal.”

Galatasaray midfield star Wesley Sneijder has admitted that it would be impossible for him to ignore interest from Manchester United this summer.

The 30-year-old was given his 101st senior cap for the Netherlands by Louis van Gaal in Wednesday’s 3-2 win over Australia at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Van Gaal will leave his post as manager of the Dutch national team after this summer’s tournament to take charge at Old Trafford.

It has been rumoured that Van Gaal may attempt to sign Sneijder for the Red Devils.

Sneijder has two years left to run on his current contract at Galatasaray and he claims that he is enjoying life in Turkey.

However, he says that he would be extremely tempted if Van Gaal were to make a move for him.

The Daily Mail quote Sneijder as saying: “In the Netherlands, Van Gaal is something like the head teacher of a school. Not everyone is lucky enough to get into his good books.

“He trains his players very hard and always expects the highest standards. I am happy at Galatasaray, I have established myself at the club and have settled in.

“However, if Van Gaal were to make me an offer, I would have to at least consider it. Nobody from the Netherlands can simply reject Van Gaal.”

Sneijder has scored 26 goals at senior international level.

His previous clubs include Ajax, Real Madrid and Inter Milan.

He has won one Eredivisie, two KNVB Cups, one La Liga, one Serie A crowns, two Coppa Italias, one Champions League, one FIFA Club World Cup, one Super Lig and one Turkish Cup.
