PSG Want Chelsea Star To Hand In A Transfer Request

Hints that the Belgian’s transfer could be solely within Chelsea’s hands.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has calmed down media reports suggesting that the French giants will move for Chelsea star Eden Hazard this summer by hinting that the high profile transfer could be out of his hands.

The Frenchman is known to be a big admirer of Hazard, but insists that the Ligue 1 champions would not rush into their transfers this summer.

The former Manchester United centre-back also suggested that Hazard might have to hand in a transfer request at Chelsea for PSG to stand a realistic chance of signing the Belgian international.

“Hazard is a top player, but I think Chelsea want to keep him,” Blanc was quoted by the Metro.

“A lot of players are going to be mentioned, but we have already got our priority, David Luiz.

“Some players will ask to leave, we’ll have to see. For the moment, that’s not the case. We’re going to bring in some players, one or two, of great quality.”

Chelsea meanwhile are readying a new £200,000 per week contract for their young star in a bid to keep his eyes off other top clubs in Europe.

Hazard too seemed to have a reconciled with his manager Jose Mourinho this summer after some unpleasant moments towards the end of last season, and is unlikely to push for a move away from Stamford Bridge.
