Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has made Newcastle United keeper Tim Krul his number one transfer target with the north London club fearful that current custodian Hugo Lloris will leave this summer according to the Daily Mail.

The White Hart Lane side are ready to offer £10m for the Magpies goalie and the Dutchman may be open to a move this summer having seen his side end the 2013/14 season in disappointing fashion.

AC Milan are also said to be keen on the towering keeper but Krul is said to favour a move to another Premier League side.

Tottenham would be loathed to lose Lloris, who was arguably the club’s most consistent performer last season and is captaining the French national team at the World Cup finals.

Ligue 1 big spenders PSG are reportedly hoping to bring in the former Lyon man this summer and Daniel Levy may struggle to turn down big money offers for his services.

Krul is one of the most reliable keepers in the Premier League and is apparently keen on a high-profile move that coul aid his push for a more prominent role in the Dutch national team set-up.
