Exciting news for Reds Devils fans.

Check in to Italy vs Uruguay

Edinson Cavani, who is reportedly among Manchester United’s top transfer targets, has refused to rule out a summer move away from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 27-year-old Uruguay international (pictured above with Liverpool’s Luis Suarez) is rumoured to be unsettled in Paris, where he has been forced to play wide of his favoured position in a 4-3-3 formation to accommodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Cavani only joined PSG 12 months ago, arriving at the Parc des Princes from Napoli for a fee in the region of £56m.

Despite having been with the Ligue 1 champions for just one season, Cavani admits a summer exit is a possibility.

The Mirror quote him as saying: “In football you never know. Anything can happen. One day you’re in one team and the next day you can be in another.”

Cavani scored 16 goals in 30 French league matches last season, providing two assists as well.

He played eight Champions League games for PSG, netting four goals.

Cavani is an integral part of Uruguay’s national team and he has started in both of their matches at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

He opened the scoring from the penalty spot in Uruguay’s shock 3-1 defeat to Costa Rica, before setting up one of Suarez’s goals in Thursday’s 2-1 win over England.

Cavani has four years left to run on his current PSG contract.
