Skybet have slashed their odds on star striker Luis Suarez leaving Anfield this summer.

A lot of punters have backed the Uruguayan to move on following reports that La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are considering activating a £68m release clause in his contract.

As a result, Skybet have been forced to cut their odds on Suarez not being at Liverpool at the end of the summer transfer window from 2-1 to 5-6.

The online bookmaker are offering 9-4 that he joins Real this summer and the same price on Barca securing his services before the window slams shut.

Hopeful Liverpool fans can get 5-6 on Suarez still being a Liverpool player come September.

Suarez scored 31 goals in 33 Premier League games last season, as well as providing 12 assists.

He missed Uruguay’s opening game at the 2014 FIFA World Cup through injury, but he returned ahead of schedule to bag a brace in a 2-1 win over England on Thursday night.

Suarez, who joined Liverpool from Ajax in January 2011, has four years left to run on his current contract.

The 27-year-old signed the deal in December 2013.
