Sevilla president Jose Castro has stated that he will allow Alberto Moreno to move to Liverpool but only if the Anfield side meet their valuation of the left-back according to talkSPORT.

The Anfield side are known to covet the impressive 21 year old Spanish international, who narrowly missed out on a spot in Vicente del Bosque’s 2014 World Cup finals squad, but appear to be reticent about forking out £25m for his services.

Tottenham are also keen and Castro is clearly open to a sale, for the right price, stating;

“It’s true that there is interest from a number of clubs, above all Liverpool, in him, but we haven’t had proper conversations about selling him,”

“Signing any player from this club has a price and we will decide that price. If Alberto Moreno has to stay at the club he will stay but if a club pays the amount we think is big enough for him to leave, he will leave. But there is no pressure.

“We haven’t reached an agreement, but talks haven’t broken down. We’ll wait and see what happens. If Liverpool are interested in the player and pay the right amount, he will be sold,”

Rodgers seems keen to replace his current first choice left-back, injured Spaniard Jose Enrique, and a move for Moreno would certainly adhere to his youthful transfer policy and could see John Flangan moved to his more suited role at right-back.
