The Netherlands 2-0 Chile: World Cup Highlights From Sao Paulo

Watch FIFA World Cup 2014 highlights from Sao Paulo, as two late Dutch goals send Louis van Gaal’s side through as Group B winners.

Louis van Gaal’s impressive Netherlands side have breezed through to the last sixteen of the 2014 FIFA World Cup with a 2-0 victory over Chile in Sao Paulo.

Despite the defeat, however, Jorge Sampaoli’s Chilean side qualify in second place behind the Dutch, although they are now likely to face an all-South American clash against hosts Brazil in the next round.

The game was a tight and cagey affair, with both teams lining up in similar formations, meaning that it was no surprise when a set-piece proved to be the defining moment, with Norwich City man Leroy Fer heading home a corner just minutes after entering the match as a substitute.

With Chile pushing for an equaliser Holland made sure of the result in injury time as Arjen Robben ran unchallenged through the Chilean half before squaring for Memphis Depay to put some gloss on the final score.
