Arsenal & Tottenham On Alert As Striker Drops Major Hint At Old Trafford Exit

Clubs ready to pounce for unsettled United ace.Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could be among the clubs ready to pounce as Javier Hernandez has hinted he could leave Manchester United this summer, according to the Daily Express.

The Mexican international has not been at his best for some time now, slipping behind the likes of Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck in the pecking order at Old Trafford, and the player now claims he has not been shown a great deal of faith from those around him in recent times.

Inter Milan and Real Madrid are also mentioned as clubs who could be interested in snapping up the 26-year-old, who had looked a terrific prospect when he first joined United back in the 2010/11 season, showing a great eye for goal as he helped Sir Alex Ferguson’s side secure the title that year.

Still, with Hernandez looking unlikely to be part of new manager Louis van Gaal’s plans next term, he has hinted that he is unhappy with his current role as a ‘superb sub’ at United, and clubs will now surely be on alert as he seems set on securing a move away this summer.

“This whole year has been very tough,” he admitted. “Players need confidence more than anything else, and I’ve been very short of it.

“Very few people have shown faith in me over this past year.”
