The Uruguayan FA have made it clear that banned striker Luis Suarez remains in the thoughts of his teammates, with the Liverpool forward’s shirt being hung in the dressing room ahead of their World Cup clash with Colombia.
Suarez is in Montevideo after receiving a four month ban from all football activities by FIFA after biting Giorgio Chiellini, but his nation having acted with ourage at his punishment, with this gesture being just the latest in a number of shows of support.

Uruguay take on Colombia this evening in the Maracana, with Diego Forlan and Edinson Cavani trying to ensure that the loss of Suarez isn’t felt too keenly.
