The Daily Mirror claim that the west London side want full-back Kyle Naughton and attacking bit-part player Gylfi Sigurdsson whilst The Sun believe that Emmanuel Adebayor is also on the Super Hoops wish-list.

Moves to bring in players who could be deemed surplus to requirements by new Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino could well prove successful, especially if those targeted are keen to remain in the capital.

QPR will have to look to tempt such moves with competitive wage deals and with a number of high-profile players still tied to the west London club one assumes Redknapp will be told to sell the likes of Loic Remy, Stéphane Mbia and Esteban Granero before he goes out puts more big earners on the club’s wage bill.

Of the trio one can imagine Adebayor will consider such a switch if Pochettino doesn’t offer him the guarantee of regular first team football.

Adebayor was Tottenham’s top scorer last term despite only making his first appearance in late December, with former manager Tim Sherwood showing great faith in the Togo international.

QPR loaned in Tom Carroll and Benoît Assou-Ekotto from the north London side last term and may well also look to bring the pair in on permanent deals.
