Tottenham and Swansea City are set for negotiations over a potential swap deal according to the Sunday Mirror.

The south Wales side are keen on signing Icelandic international Gylfi Sigurdsson, who impressed during a previous loan spell at the Liberty Stadium side, though the White Hart Lane side will reportedly ask for keeper Michel Vorm and left-back Ben Davies as part of any deal.

Swans chairman Huw Jenkins is unlikely to agree to such a deal and talks between himself and Spurs supremo Daniel Levy may be in order for any moves between the two clubs to come to fruition.

Interest in Davies is clearly with a view to resolving the north London club’s left-sided defensive problems whilst a move for Vorm could prove a tacit admission that they fear losing first choice keeper Hugo Lloris.

Swansea City have already brought in free agent Lukasz Fabianski from Arsenal and could therefore be willing to offload Dutch international Vorm.
