CL winner uploads photo in tattoo parlour.
Former Liverpool left-back John Arne Riise has uploaded a picture to his Instagram account, showing himself in the process of getting a tattoo done to celebrate the Reds’ 2005 Champions League success.
The Norwegian played as Liverpool produced one of the most memorable finals in history against AC Milan, winning a penalty shoot-out after a 3-3 draw in Istanbul when they had been 3-0 down at half time.
Having been released by Fulham after their relegation this season, Riise is currently a free agent and on the lookout for a new club, but he is taking time to enjoy his summer holiday and mark one of the most memorable nights of his career.
As well as an image of the Champions League trophy, Riise will get ‘YNWA’ written underneath, in homage to his former club.
