Tottenham are ready to sell experienced centre-back Michael Dawson according to Goal.com.

The 30 year old has been told he can leave White Hart Lane and both Hull City and QPR are keen on landing the former Nottingham Forest man.

Dawson moved to the north London side in 2005 and has made over 300 appearances for the club but doesn’t appear to be part of new manager Mauricio Pochettino’s long term plans.

Tottenham will look to secure £6m from his sale though Steve Bruce’s KC Stadium side are only willing to pay £4m having already brought in midfielder Jack Livermore from Spurs this summer.

Pochttino will however not look to sell flop record signing Erik Lamela with the former Southampton boss keen to give the 22 year old a chance to prove himself having thus far come nowhere near justifying the £30m paid to AS Roma for his services.

Chairman Daniel Levy forked out over £100m on new players last summer and may encourage Pochettino to sell before he buys so as to avoid another massive outlay on new additions.
