Podolski may not have played in Germany’s win over France, but he still looks delighted by the team’s victory in their quarter final.
Arsenal and Germany striker Lukas Podolski missed out on the team for his country’s 1-0 2014 FIFA World Cup victory over France in Rio de Janeiro, but he was still delighted enough after Joachim Low’s side’s progress to post a picture on Twitter with his teammates.
Waving goodbye to Rio, the German look to be in high spirits ahead of a prospective quarter final against either Brazil or Colombia, with a couple even sporting the shirts of local club Flamengo, on which the German away kit was based.
