Owen also says that Lille teenage Origi is better than Chelsea forward Lukaku.
Former Liverpool and Manchester United forward Michael Owen believes that Luis Suarez is the best striker on the planet right now.
Owen expressed the opinion during a question and answer session on Twitter on Saturday.
The 34-year-old, who also played for Real Madrid, England, Newcastle United and Stoke City, was asked who he thought the best striker in the world was and who was his favourite of all time.
Despite the fact that Suarez cannot play until the end of October because of a FIFA-imposed suspension, Owen opted to name the 27-year-old, who scored 31 goals in 33 Premier League games last season, as the best right now.
Owen went for Arsenal legend Thierry Henry as his favorite striker of all time.
Henry is Arsenal’s record goalscorer, having netted 228 times for the Gunners.
“@CHewson8: @themichaelowen @scottmcg88 who is you fav forward of all time and who did you think best around at the moment?” Henry. Suarez.

Owen also said that Lille teenage Divock Origi is better than Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku.
Origi started ahead of Lukaku for Belgium in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Argentina in the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
“@candrafebyP: @themichaelowen why belgian play origi?not lukaku ?” Because Origi is better.
