Eagles boss Tony Pulis hopes to persuade talented youngster Jonjo Shelvery to leave Swansea City for a return to London according to the Daily Mail.

The 22 year old enjoyed a successful first campaign at the Liberty Stadium, scoring six goals and providing six assists in Premier League action alone, but could perhaps be tempted by a move to Crystal Palace following their strong end to 2013/14.

The former Liverpool man would offer the Selhurst Park some added creativity to Crystal Palace’s midfield to help add balance to a side that is clearly very well organized and not lacking passion and determination.

Shelvey spent six years at South London side Charlton Athletic and the Romford born attacking midfielder may be open to a move back to the capital.

The youngster left Anfield in pursuit of regular first team football and a move to Crystal Palace will do likewise and could help to secure Shelvey a return to the England national team set-up.
