New White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino had hoped to bring in the Liberty Stadium pair by offering bit-part player Gylfi Sigurdsson in a swap deal but that has unsurprisingly not been an offer the south Wales side are willing to consider.

However Swans boss Garry Monk may well be interested in the Icelandic international as a potential replacement for Michu, who seems set for a move to Napoli.

Sigurdsson has failed to secure a foothold in the Spurs first team starting eleven but did impress during a loan spell at Swansea City when he netted seven goals in 18 appearances during Brendan Rodgers’ spell in charge.

Swansea City rate full-back Davies at a whopping £10m though this may not stop Pochettino from making an offer for the left-back whilst Dutch keeper Vorm is seen as a potential replacement for Hugo Lloris, who has been linked with a possible summer exit.
