Arsenal have given away new signing Alexis Sanchez’s shirt number as part of the launch of their new Puma home, away and third kits – the Chilean will wear the number 17 when he pulls on a red shirt next season.

Despite a busy day in which his long-awaited move from Barcelona to Arsenal went through, Sanchez still had time to pose in one of the new red Arsenal home shirts as part of the evening’s launch of the first kit to be made by Puma under a new big-money deal between the two parties.
