Song has been in demand this summer, despite playing a bit part role during his time with the La Liga giants as both United and Chelsea are keen on bringing him back to England.

His stock had fallen after his poor displays at the World Cup were ended prematurely after a ridiculous red card against Croatia.

However, despite United and Chelsea leading the pack for his signature, the likes of Marseille, Inter Milan and Napoli are also said to be keen on bringing him on board.

But Barcelona have confirmed that though there has been significant interest in the player not one formal offer has been made for his services.

Barca have reportedly set Song’s transfer fee at €25m as they believe he is worth more than the €19m they paid Arsenal for the player when they signed him.
