Free-agent striker Michael Ngoo, who was recently released by Liverpool, could now pursue his career in Denmark with Odense, reports the Daily Mail.

The 21-year old spent five seasons in England, but his failure to make a first team appearance for the Reds has forced the club management to not offer him a new contract.

Ngoo is also wanted by English lower division clubs MK Dons and Swindon Town, but a move away from England to Scandinavia could be on the cards for Ngoo. The 6ft 6 inch striker joined from Southend as a 16-year old, and spent loan spells away at Scottish Premier League side Midlothian, Championship side Yeovil Town and League One outfit Walsall. He netted a total of 6 goals from 38 games on loan, and the Reds probably did not see enough of a future with the striker to keep him at Anfield.

Ngoo featured for the England U-19 and U-20 sides 9 times in total, netting 3 goals.
