Swansea City have reportedly accepted a £10m bid from Tottenham for young left-back Ben Davies according to the Telegraph.

The White Hart Lane side have agreed a fee with Swansea City but as this source points out, Liverpool could opt to also meet the Welsh side’s valuation.

Rodgers is keen to land Davies having seemingly given up on his lengthy pursuit of Sevilla youngster Alberto Moreno.

Swansea City are ready to pull 21 year old Davies from their Chivas Guadalajara in Milwaukee on Wednesday night.

Swans boss Garry Monk may well prefer to sell to the north London side as he could feel that it assists in his pursuit of Tottenham attacker Gylfi Sigurdsson, the Icelandic international being a known target of the club having previously enjoyed a loan spell at the Liberty Stadium.

Davies has enjoyed two seasons as a virtual ever present since breaking into the Swansea City first team set-up in August 2012 and has made 84 appearances in the process.
