Premier League trio Southampton, Stoke City and West Ham United are all interested in signing Brazilian striker Paulinho from Italian club Livorno, according to reports from Sky Sports.

Paulinho could be allowed to move on from Livorno, with the club having failed to regain Serie A status last season and the Brazilian unlikely to stay with the club remaining in Serie B.

The player has been at Livorno since 2005, after joining as a youngster from Juventude in his homeland. He has scored 48 league goals for the club, whilst he has also spent relatively successful periods on loan at Grosseto and Sorrento.

All three clubs are searching for increased firepower in attack, despite both Southampton and West Ham having made significant signings in that area during recent days.

The Saints signed Italian striker Graziano Pelle from Feyenoord, but with Rickie Lambert having left, Dani Osvaldo unlikely to stay and Jay Rodriguez ruled out of the opening months of the season with injury, new manager Ronald Koeman will want at least one more attacking option.

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce, meanwhile, has captured the signing of Ecuadorian striker Enner Valencia from Mexico after his fine performances for his country at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
