AC Milan are interested in signing Manchester United winger Nani this summer, but are not willing to pay the club’s current asking price of £11m for the player, according to the Daily Express.

The Portuguese international has been badly off form for the Red Devils for the last two seasons now, and is widely expected to be shown the door this summer following the arrival of new manager Louis van Gaal.

United have been linked with a host of new attacking midfield players, most notably Real Madrid star Angel Di Maria, and will likely be looking to sell as well as buy as they look to make major changes in that part of their squad.

The likes of Ashley Young and Wilfried Zaha are also being linked with moves away from Old Trafford, and Nani could be San Siro-bound if the club are ready to lower their demands for the inconsistent wide-man.

Juventus’ interest in the 27-year-old appears to have cooled following the appointment of a new manager in Turin, so Milan are in no hurry to make an offer for him at this stage, and will hope to sign him for a fee closer to their own valuation of his abilities.
