Tottenham will turn their attentions to Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony after seemingly losing hope of securing Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku as White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino looks to strengthen his attack according to the Daily Mail.

The Ivory Coast international may well tempted by a move to the north London club though it’s though that the Liberty Stadium side will demand £20m for the 25 year old, a fee that Spurs may or may not be willing to pay.

Given that chairman Daniel Levy spent over £100m on new additions last summer, and taking into account the sheer size of the club’s squad, one imagines Pochettino will be encouraged to sell before he buys.

With this in mind the two big money attackers brought in by Andre Villas-Boas, Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado, must surely be fearful for their futures at the club, not least as the pair managed just two Premier League goals from open play between them last season.

Bony netted an impressive 25 goals in all competitions for Swansea City last season but the departure of Micheal Laudrup and the south Wales side’s disappointing campaign could lead the former Vitesse Arnhem man to push for an exit.
