The Daily Mirror reports that the North Londoners are already in talks with Croatian side Hajduk Split over a £3 million transfer of the 16-year old. Hajduk rate Vlasic at £6 million, but Spurs are confident of a cut price deal, and want to wrap up the signing before bigger clubs come calling for the teenager.
Luka Modric made a huge reputation for himself during his time at White Hart Lane, and Spurs believe they can now land Vlasic at a meagre price before moulding him into another world class product. Vlasic has already started playing first team football for Hajduk at a very tender age, which is testament to his huge potential, and Spurs would not want to miss out on the prospect after being one of the first clubs to make contact over his signature.
