White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino will look to use keeper Hugo Lloris to help persuade his fellow Frenhcman to consider a move to the north London club.

The in-form wide man netted 20 goals in all competitions last term, a feat that would impress if achieved whilst at one of the Spanish giants and all the more impressive with Real Sociedad.

The £25m offer would trigger Griezmann’s release clause though AS Monaco are also said to be keen on the attacker and given the Stade Louis II side is likely to be able to to offer a far superior, tax-free, wage and Champions League football Spurs may struggle to win the race for his signature.

Chelsea are also said to be keen though that’s a move that Griezmann may avoid given the possibility he would be fighting for a starting spot in Jose Mourinho’s star-studded squad.

Spurs on the other hand are likely to offer Griezmann a regular first team spot given the average showing of the likes of Aaron Lennon, Nacer Chadli and Andros Townsend last term.

Tottenham are ready to move on to PSV Eindhoven left winger Memphis Depay ifmiss out on Griezmann.

Pochettino has apparently already agreed a deal with Swansea City to sign Ben Davies and Michel Vorm.
