Manchester United have offered a trial to Oscar Borg, a 16-year-old on the books at West Ham dubbed ‘The Next Gareth Bale’, reports the Daily Mail.
Like Bale, Borg is a rangy left winger with great pace and dribbling ability, combined with a ferocious left foot. The comparisons with the world’s most expensive player are so similar, the West Ham coaches even refer to Borg as ‘Gareth’.
If the Red Devils are suitably impressed, Borg will cost them £220,000, which if he fulfils his talent, could be an enormous bargain.
