The Colombian rescues a fan in a shirt from his home nation.
During the presentation of James Rodriguez as a Real Madrid player on Tuesday the event was briefly interrupted by an overenthusiastic fan who took to the pitch.
The supporter was dressed in a Colombia shirt and when Rodriguez saw the heavy-handed approach of the Madrid security decided to get involved to help his fellow countryman.
The 22-year-old became the fourth most expensive player of all time upon completing his £63m transfer from AS Monaco.
