Former Spain youth international Ander Herrera enjoyed an excellent Manchester United debut in the early hours of Thursday.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who joined the Red Devils from Athletic Bilbao for £29m last month, played the full 90 minutes as United thrashed Los Angeles Galaxy 7-0 in front of 86,000 fans in California.
Ashley Young, Wayne Rooney and Reece James all bagged braces, but Herrera was named as man of the match.
