The legends of Porto’s 2004, and Barcelona’s 2006 Champions League triumphs turned out in force to honour the retirement of midfielder Deco, who has recently ended his playing career at the age of 36.

Deco, who starred for both clubs during his illustrious career, played for Porto during the first-half before switching shirts at half-time. With the Portuguese side trailing 4-3 going into the final minutes, he switched teams again, and netted the equaliser with the final kick of the game.

Derlei, Benni McCarthy and Edgaras Jankauskas also scored for Porto, while Lionel Messi and Samuel Eto’o (2) netted for Barcelona, with Deco suitably scoring for both teams.
