The 22 year old has seen Mathieu Debuchy replace Man City bound Bacary Sagna and Arsene Wenger then compound that addition by pursuing Southampton teen Calum Chambers, all but confirming that Jenkinson is not part of his long term plans.

Jenkinson is something of a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium but whilst talented is perhaps too error prone to be considered a first choice starter and could perhaps benefit from a move away from the north London side in search of regular action.

Jenkinson moved to Arsenal in the summer of 2011 after impressing at Charlton Athletic and has made 57 appearances for the Gunners.
