Chelsea have continued their pre-season preparations with a 2-1 friendly victory over Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia, although Jose Mourinho’s men had to come from behind to secure the win.
Despite dominating possession in the first half, the Blues fell behind when Nik Kapun fired past young goalkeeper Matej Delac five minutes before half time.
After making a host of substitutions, however, Chelsea fought their way back into the match, with striker Diego Costa scoring his first goal for the club after latching on to a neat Cesc Fabregas pass and firing home at the near post.
The winner came from another new signing, Kurt Zouma, who stabbed home after Fernando Torres saw his shot saved by the goalkeeper.
